Narrative Attunement First Responder Skills
OppAttune’s Work Package 5 (WP5) has focused on developing innovative methods for fostering social dialogue in polarised contexts. One of its key partners, Cultures Interactive (NGO/Berlin), has now received additional project funding to expand this work into a new training initiative: ‘Narrative Attunement First Responder Skills in Emergency Situations of Democracy’. This development highlights the real-world impact of OppAttune’s research and its growing influence in the field of democratic resilience.
The training draws directly from WP5’s focus on “Social Dialogue to Attune,” a methodology developed to foster constructive engagement in polarized environments. By applying these techniques, the new program will support youth workers, educators, and community mediators in responding effectively to everyday democratic disruptions.
